Tamara Berndt and Marie Schnyer, who have shown me what training hard
and consistently can do. You two are unbelievable. Christina Kinsky,
a member of our group diagnosed with cancer over a year ago. Amazing
fortitude and still going strong.
Personal Training
Tips: Strength training with running, especially centering on the
core. Recently started using recovery drinks on hard days and they
work!!! Massage therapist on call can be very helpful. Lastly, love
Advil.
Why I Run: For
life.
I love runners
who: Run...not an easy sport. Special group of people
who show great determination in all that they do. Many of the
members of SBAA are among the most talented and extremely productive
people I know.
Suggestions for local races: More
bands...I love music.
Suggestions for
SBAA: Thanks for all you do.
My views on:
Despite being an age group SBAA winner, I am one of the slower
runners in the group...it's a tough act to follow! Everyone is
always so encouraging and I thank you all for that.
Add Anything:
Special thanks to Rusty Snow and Mike Swan for great coaching.
Favorite Quote:
From Christina Kinsky...Bring it On (although with a little less
fervor than Christina).
