Founded in 1966, the not-for-profit Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is licensed for 52-bed acute care beds, admits 1,700 patients a year and receives 24,000 emergency room visits. The hospital is recognized for its Breast Imaging Center, the Ridley-Tree Center for Wound Management and the Center for Orthopedics.

Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital
Our greatest desire is to gather safely in person. The Miles for Moms Committee is following guidance from Public health and Cottage Health’s infectious disease experts. Our current event guidelines for participants are below:
A Covid-19 vaccination or proof of negative test is required for participation for anyone age 5 or older. If a participant is not vaccinated, a proof of a valid negative Covid-19 test within 96 hours of race start is required. Please make sure to bring your proof of vaccination or negative test to check-in the morning of the event. Masks are not required.
The types of Covid-19 test results we will accept will be communicated two weeks prior to the event. That information will be emailed to all participants and be placed here on the registration website.
